We need your article submissions!

All members have the opportunity to submit cycling related articles for our website and Facebook and we are actively soliciting your input. Even if you aren’t a writer yourself, we are always looking for ideas for articles or other content.

Are you working on any interesting cycling projects? Have you attended a meeting, traveled by bike or learned something you want to share with us? Do you have any civic or advocacy work regarding cycling that you want to inform people about? If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, please send your articles to us! Thank you for your contributions and for your consideration.

We ask that submissions comply with a few parameters:

• All content submitted must be yours.
• Our article format lends itself best to relatively short articles. The length of articles should be between 200-800 words, but that’s flexible. It is acceptable to include links in the text.
• Submissions should not be reposts of articles published elsewhere.
• Articles must be relevant to our membership and strictly informative rather than promotional. Articles that focus on issues of general interest to the cycling community and to VC Iveagh club members are appreciated. We are not interested in articles that focus on sales or promotions, as this is not a forum for advertising.

To submit an article, please email vciveagh@gmail.com. Enter your article, including any links to photos, title it and save. We shall then review the article and if it follows the guidelines above, it will be posted.

Remember it’s your club, so please contribute! Thank you!
